Real-Time Analytics at Device Scale: EMQX + Apache Doris

Large fleets of connected devices produce a continuous stream of small updates. At production scale, the challenge is to maintain many simultaneous connections, handle high message rates, and make the incoming data available for timely analysis. This session explains why MQTT fits device communication and how EMQX and Apache Doris work together for real-time IoT analytics. We will follow the native integration from MQTT messages through EMQX rules and batched SQL writes into Doris, then show how SQL can answer a fleet-wide question using recent telemetry. Along the way, we will discuss horizontal scaling and the trade-off between batching efficiency and data freshness. Attendees will leave with a clear understanding of the integration path and how to evaluate it against their own workloads.
